Project Scope

The intern will be given the opportunity to:

• Understand Micron's particle contamination control strategy and cleanroom quality requirements.
• Learn the functionality and application of real-time particle monitoring systems.
• Coordinate with vendors, Facilities, Quality Engineering (QE), and manufacturing stakeholders to support system installation and deployment.
• Assist in project planning, tracking, and execution activities.
• Investigate and resolve implementation issues encountered during the project.
• Support system verification and performance monitoring after deployment.

Learning Opportunities

The intern will have the opportunity to:

• Gain practical experience in manufacturing data analytics and equipment reliability engineering.
• Apply data preparation, trend analysis, anomaly detection, and machine learning techniques.
• Learn to develop equipment health indicators and evaluate their effectiveness.

Deliverables
