Job summary

STTGDC, a global data centre provider headquartered in Singapore, seeks a proactive Procurement Intern to support sourcing, supplier management, reporting and data analytics. You will help apply AI, automation, and digital tools to improve procurement processes and management reporting.

You will maintain databases, develop dashboards, and assist with process improvements while collaborating with internal stakeholders. This internship offers growth via mentoring and exposure to cutting-edge tech.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Strong interest in procurement, AI, automation, analytics and digital transformation.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, organized and willing to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Query or basic programming is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain procurement databases, trackers, contract registers, and records.
• Analyse procurement and supplier data and develop reports and dashboards.
• Develop and enhance procurement reports and interactive dashboards.
• Identify manual processes that can be streamlined using AI, automation, or digital workflows.
• Help develop AI-enabled tools for procurement research, document review, data extraction, policy guidance, and knowledge management.
• Support the automation of approval tracking, contract expiry monitoring, recurring reports, and stakeholder follow-ups.
• Test automated solutions and validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with procurement projects, process improvement, and other departmental initiatives.
• Participate in team meetings and coordinate follow-up actions with internal stakeholders.
