Job summary

IATA invites motivated graduates for a 6-month internship in Singapore, supporting the Regional Banking Manager and Banking Management processes. This full-time role offers exposure to banking operations across Asia Pacific and a learning-driven, multicultural environment.

Applicants must be Singapore residents (Citizens/PRs) or have university-program internship eligibility. Strong MS Office skills and English proficiency are essential; ERP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduated within the last 12 months in finance/economics/business.
• Detail-oriented with strong reporting/documentation skills.
• Strong analytics and communication skills.
• Team player in a multicultural environment.
• Experience in banking environment is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office; SharePoint knowledge helpful.
• English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Support Regional Banking Manager in executing Banking Management processes per SOPs.
• Update Banking Management Database with bank accounts, contacts, signatories, documents.
• Collect and prepare supporting documents for banking processes and liaise with IATA HQ.
• Provide banking management support to other departments and Local Country Office in Asia Pacific.
• Assist in solving operational issues related to banking management.
• Follow up on banking reviews and bank information updates.
• Engage with major banks and fintech providers to troubleshoot issues and deliver outcomes.

What your day would be like

• Responsible for support of the Regional Banking Manager in execution of the Banking Management process according to the global Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
• Update Banking Management Database in terms of (IATA bank accounts details, bank contact details, signatories and documentation/ agreements);
• Responsible for collecting and preparing of supporting documents for all banking processes in the region and liaison with IATA HQ on documents tracking (new bank accounts, signatories update etc.);
• Provide banking management support to other departments (Quality, Settlement Operations, Corporate Finance, Agency Participation, Settlement Risk
• Management,Customer Service and etc.) as well as Local Country Office in Asia Pacific;
• Support Banking Manager in solving of operational issues related to banking management;
• Support Banking Manager in the follow up of banking reviews and bank information updates;
• Support Banking Manager to engage with major multi-national banks and fintech providers to troubleshoot operational issues and deliver project outcomes.

• You have a University graduate in any field of Finance, Economics, Business Administration or any related field (the degree should have been achieved within the last 12 months);
• Attention to details with strong reporting and documentation skills;
• Strong analytical skills andcommunication skills;
• Be an effective team player in a multicultural working environment;
• Experience in Banking Environment would be an asset;
• Excellent PC skills, particularity with MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, Power PointOutlook) and SharePoint;
• Experience in ERP systems (Salesforce, SAP) would be beneficial;Proficient in English.

IMPORTANT:

• For this internship, only applications from Singapore residents (Citizens and PRs) will be accepted. Applications from foreign students who are currently residing in Singapore and are authorized to perform an internship as part of their university program can also be accepted.
• This internship is a full-time commitment; the selected candidate must be available on a full-time basis.
• The selected candidate is required to commit to a minimum 6-month period.
