AI-Enabled Procurement Analytics and Process Optimization
The Global Procurement organization plays a key role in enabling Micron’s growth through supply chain resiliency, data-driven decision-making, sustainability initiatives, and procurement excellence. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement operations, digital transformation, and data analytics within a global business environment.
The intern will participate in a structured project focused on developing AI-Enabled procurement solutions, enhancing data visibility, and improving operational workflows. Through mentorship and project ownership, the intern will gain exposure to procurement systems, supply chain processes, data analytics, Agentic AI solutions, and continuous improvement methodologies.
To develop and implement AI-Enabled analytics and process improvement solutions that enhance procurement visibility, operational efficiency, and decision-making capabilities within Front End Materials Procurement Operations.
High-performing interns may be considered for future internship conversion opportunities or full-time employment opportunities, subject to business needs and hiring requirements.
The project will contribute to enhanced procurement visibility, improved decision-making, streamlined business processes, and expanded use of AI-enabled technologies. Project outcomes are expected to strengthen operational efficiency and support long-term procurement transformation initiatives.
The ideal candidate should be pursuing Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Science, or a related field.
The ideal candidate should be able to commit to a full time internship period of 5 to 6 months from January 2027 to May/June 2027.
