Job summary

A leading interior design company in Singapore seeks a skilled designer to manage client projects, from concept to installation. The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in interior design, is customer service oriented, and proficient in AutoCAD and 3D tools. You'll be responsible for determining client needs, sketching designs, managing timelines, and ensuring project satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Ability to sketch up or use AutoCAD & 3Dmax.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong ability to visualize concepts and explain them.

Responsibilities

• Determine the client’s goals and requirements of the project.
• Sketch preliminary design plans, including electrical layouts.
• Create a timeline for the interior design project.
• Place orders for materials and oversee installations.
• Visit after the project to ensure client satisfaction.

Job description

• Determine the client’s goals and requirements of the project
• Consider how the space will be used and how people will move through the space
• Sketch preliminary design plans, including electrical layouts
• Specify materials and furnishings, such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring, and plumbing fixtures
• Prepare final plans, using computer applications
• Create a timeline for the interior design project and estimate project costs
• Place orders for materials and oversee installing the design elements
• Visit after the project to ensure that the client is satisfied
• Preparing AutoCAD / 3D Drawing
• Diploma / Degree in Interior Design or relevant field.
• Required skills: Customer Service and Sales Driven
• Creativity and Imagination
• An eye for design, including colour, and good 3D awareness
• The ability to visualise concepts and explain them to others
• An interest in changing trends in design.
• Able to sketch up or AutoCAD & 3Dmax.
• Able to work under pressure / tight deadline.
