Confidential is seeking a design-focused professional to support space planning, concept design, and development for interior projects in Singapore. You will collaborate with clients and engineers to translate briefs into workable layouts and visuals.

Responsibilities span from documentation and procurement to site support, with emphasis on details, schedules, and coordinating with contractors. Fresh graduates welcome; strong communication and a disciplined work ethic are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Space planning and functional programming.
  • Design concept development and design narrative/storyboard.
  • Mood boards and inspiration boards.
  • Preliminary space plans and layout options.
  • Preliminary material, finish, and colour palette direction.
  • Client presentation and concept approval sign-off.
  • Detailed floor plans, elevations, and sections.
  • FF&E selection and specification.
  • Material, finish, and colour schedules.
  • Custom furniture, joinery, or millwork design.
  • 3D renderings, visualizations, or walkthroughs.
  • Window treatment, textile, and soft-furnishing specification.
  • Design and layout documentation for contractors/tradespeople.
  • Specification books and finish/fixture/furniture schedules.
  • Coordination with architects, engineers, or MEP consultants, where applicable.
  • Permit or approval documentation support, where required.
  • Vendor and supplier sourcing, and quotation comparison.
  • Purchase order preparation and order placement support.
  • Order tracking, delivery coordination, and lead-time management.
  • Sample and material approval coordination.
  • Contractor and trade coordination, and responses to design queries.
  • Snag list / punch list review and close-out.
  • Final styling, staging, and installation walkthrough.
  • Art, accessory, and decor curation.
  • Photography coordination for completed projects.
