Job summary

SOG Design PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a highly motivated Interior Designer to join our growing team. You will work closely with the SOG Design lead on design & build projects across Singapore and the Asia Pacific region, shaping our interior design capabilities.

Produce high-quality design work, presentations, 3D models, graphics, and visualisation documents that bring concepts to life for clients.

Qualifications

• Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field; equivalent certification considered.
• Fluent in English with strong communication across levels.
• Experience with large-scale interior or design & build projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Interior Designer to join our growing team in Singapore. In this role, you will work closely with the SOG Design lead on design & build projects across Singapore and the Asia Pacific region, playing a meaningful part in shaping our interior design capabilities. You will be responsible for producing high-quality design work across a range of interior projects, and will help prepare presentations, 3D models, graphics, and visualisation documents that bring design ideas and project concepts to life for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Team Engagement

• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships across the team, project management, and advisory functions.
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of the client-practice relationship and deliver work that consistently exceeds expectations.
• Respond positively to feedback, show initiative, and thrive in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment.

Design Delivery & Documentation

• Manage creative and technical design delivery, ensuring all project documentation is coordinated and up to date.
• Coordinate the preparation of construction and furniture drawings and specifications, reviewing and refining as required.
• Establish clear strategies, goals, and objectives for design projects, contributing to a structured and efficient delivery process.
• Assemble compelling presentations and proposal materials when pursuing new project opportunities.

Design & Technology

• Leverage the latest design and planning tools to deliver creative, innovative, and technically rigorous work.
• Develop visualisations and3D models that communicate design intent clearly and compellingly to clients and stakeholders.
• Stay curious and proactive in adopting new design technologies, including immersive tech and emerging visualisation platforms.

Coordination & Collaboration

• Coordinate third-party work, including external contractors, suppliers, and specialist consultants, to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Support the design team in mentoring activities and contribute positively to team culture and professional development.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related design field; equivalent professional certification considered.
• Fluent in spoken and written English; strong communication skills across all levels.
• Exposure to the delivery of large-scale interior or design & build projects is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Skilled in SketchUp, Rhinoceros, and/or other 3D modelling and rendering software.
• Well-versed in developing high-quality visualisations and presentation graphics.
• Expert understanding of technical design principles, architectural documentation, and detailing.

Design Competencies

• Strong all-around interior design skills, encompassing concept design, space planning, client presentations, documentation, and coordination.
• A creative portfolio that demonstrates innovative thinking, design vision, and a passion for exceptional spaces.
• Passionate about design technology, including immersive tech, parametric tools, and next-generation visualisation platforms.
• A genuine desire to grow professionally, seek out new challenges, and continuously raise the quality of your work.
