Job summary

A leading F&B company in Singapore is seeking a talented designer to conceptualize and produce detailed drawings for new outlets. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of relevant experience and strong skills in AutoCAD and 3D design software. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and prior experience in retail or F&B environments. A portfolio is required.

Job description

In this role, you will tap into your boundless creativity and passion to create enabling atmospheres through intelligent designs. You are a self‑starter, able to work well with multiple competing priorities simultaneously and participate actively in the different phases of the design process.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, produce and issue detailed drawings for new/upgrading outlets, tender, landlord approval, authority submissions and construction from inception to completion
• Participate in customer, project and design review meetings relating to project assignments
• Assist in the architectural design, documentation & presentation of projects through all stages
• Understand operation workflow and kitchen appliance/ equipment allocation
• Participate in project and design review meetings related to project assignments
• Work closely & support Project Manager in co‑ordination & project management including administrative work for quotations, invoices, as‑built drawing, maintain up‑to‑date documentation of all activities in soft & hard copies etc
• Knowledgeable in sourcing of colour and materials within budget
• Negotiate on critical and controversial issues with appropriate parties
• Good 3D awareness for design perspective, rendering, colour tone and an interest in changing of design by keeping abreast of market trends
• Any other responsibility as assigned by Project Manager

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Photoshop/Photopea/Blender SketchUp (and/or Revit)
• Ability to visualize concepts or draft freehand for design explanation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrates positive thinking and an open mind to adapt to new environment/culture/challenges/fast‑paced working enviroment
• Collaborative and result‑oriented nature
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver timely and quality work
• Able to work both independently with minimum guidance and effectively as part of a team
• Able to manage and work well with multiple competing priorities simultaneously
• Prior experience in retail or F&B environments is highly preferred
