Job description

Our client is a global manufacturer in the specialty chemicals industry, known for its commitment to sustainability and innovation. With operations spanning multiple markets, the company is currently undergoing a period of business transformation and seeks an experienced finance leader to provide interim oversight and strengthen its financial governance and strategic capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee group-level financial operations, including accounting, consolidation, and statutory compliance.
• Drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes aligned with corporate objectives.
• Partner closely with business and regional leaders to deliver insights that drive profitability and operational efficiency.
• Strengthen financial controls, reporting accuracy, and compliance frameworks.
• Provide hands‑on leadership and guidance to the finance team during the interim period.
• Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions as required.

Experience:

• At least 15 years of progressive finance experience, with recent leadership exposure in manufacturing, chemicals, or industrial sectors.
• Strong technical expertise in consolidation, financial reporting, and governance.
• Proven ability to operate in a matrixed, cross‑border environment.
• Qualified CPA / CA (or equivalent) preferred.
