The Integration Lead is a critical technical leadership role responsible for defining, governing, and driving the API-led integration strategy across the FairPrice Group (FPG).
You will be the technical expert and design authority for all enterprise integrations, specifically leveraging the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, APIGEE, SAP Integration Suite.
Your primary mission is to ensure seamless, secure, and scalable data and process flow between FPG's core systems (e.g., ERP, eCommerce, Supply Chain) and external partners, accelerating the group's omnichannel and digital initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
I. Strategy & Architecture
- Integration Strategy: Define and champion the overall integration roadmap and architecture for FairPrice Group, aligning with the enterprise strategy for omnichannel retail and digital transformation.
- Standardisation: Establish and govern integration standards, patterns, and best practices (e.g., API-first, microservices, event-driven architectures) to ensure consistency, reusability, and scalability across the FPG ecosystem.
- API-Led Connectivity: Define and champion the overall API-led integration roadmap and architecture for FairPrice Group, ensuring alignment with the enterprise strategy for omnichannel retail and digital transformation.
- MuleSoft Platform Strategy: Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, providing strategic direction on its usage, capacity planning, and evolution (including Runtime, API Manager, Exchange, and Monitoring).
- Platform Leadership: Take technical ownership of the group's Integration Platform and related tools, ensuring it is secure, performant, and future-proof.
- Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend new integration technologies, middleware, and tools that enhance FPG's technical capabilities and speed to market.
II. Project Execution & Delivery
- Integration Management: Lead the technical planning and execution of complex integration projects, specifically involving Core system replacements (e.g., POS/ERP/WMS), and major platform rollouts (e.g., new CDP, loyalty programmes).
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the primary technical liaison between business stakeholders, architecture, security, infrastructure, and development teams to translate business requirements into detailed integration specifications.
- Delivery Oversight: Define integration test strategies, ensure rigorous quality assurance, and provide critical technical support during deployment and hyper-care phases.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify, track, and manage technical risks and dependencies related to system integrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Design Authority: Lead the integration design review board and provide hands‑on architectural design for complex integration projects.
III. Governance & Operational Excellence
- Documentation: Maintain high-quality, current documentation for all integration architectures, data flow diagrams, and API specifications.
- Performance and Platform Optimisation: Monitor the performance, reliability, and cost‑effectiveness of integrated systems, driving continuous optimisation and capacity planning.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all integration solutions adhere to FPG's Cybersecurity, Data Governance, and regulatory compliance standards (e.g., PDPA in Singapore).
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and System Integrators to review and approve their proposed integration designs and ensure they meet FPG’s technical standards.
- Mentorship: Mentor and upskill internal development teams on MuleSoft best practices, API design principles, and modern integration methodologies.
