Job summary

Thales Group in Singapore seeks an IVVQ Engineer to lead integration, verification and validation activities for defense and supporting systems. You will plan, execute and supervise IVV activities, define test strategies, and create system test plans and reports, collaborating with IVV managers and project engineers.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering with 5 years of verification/validation experience, familiarity with Unix/Linux/Android, and strong defects management and requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 5 years of relevant experience in Verification/Validation
• experience in large integrated systems
• Knowledge of Unix /Linux/ Android systems
• Expertise in defect reporting, characterization, and management workflows - Use of common defect management and tools
• Ability to read and interpret requirement documentation - Use of common requirements management and tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiar with common test practices (functional tests, user scenario tests, automation) and has experience with writing test cases
• Comfortable with handling and performing basic troubleshooting on IT software & hardware
• Comfortable with travelling to Europe 1 month per quarter
• Due to project nature (Defense), Singapore citizenship or Singapore PR is necessary

The Integration and Test (IVVQ) Engineer is responsible for planning, participating and supervising the integration, verification and validation (IVV) activities for defense and supporting systems. He/she assures that the appropriate means and practices are applied to guarantee adherence to defined requirements and quality standards with minimal wasted effort or inefficiencies. The IVVQ Engineer is also responsible for the test plan and reports, assuring that the scope of the IVV activities fully cover all aspects of the system under test, while taking all previous verification activities on comparable systems into account to optimize the test effort.
