A leading insurance firm in Singapore is seeking an Insurance Partnership Manager to drive growth through strategic partnerships and manage insurance partner relationships. This role requires strong commercial acumen and expertise in digital distribution. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire partner management process and collaborate with various internal teams to enhance product offerings. The Insurance Partnership Manager is responsible for driving growth through strategic partnerships with external platforms, distributors, and ecosystem partners. This role oversees the end-to-end management of insurance partners—from opportunity identification and contract negotiation to product launch, performance optimisation, and long‑term relationship management. The ideal candidate has strong commercial acumen, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a deep understanding of insurance products and digital distribution.
Identify, evaluate, and prioritise new partnership opportunities across digital platforms, aggregators, financial institutions, lifestyle ecosystems, and corporate partners.
Develop partnership strategies that align with the company’s product and revenue objectives.
Lead prospecting, pitch presentations, negotiation, and onboarding of new partners.
Act as the primary point of contact for all assigned partners.
Build strong, collaborative relationships to drive sustainable long‑term growth.
Conduct regular performance reviews, manage partner requests, and address operational issues efficiently.
Work with partners to co‑develop annual business plans, marketing activities, and growth initiatives.
Work with Product, Pricing, Underwriting, Actuarial, and IT teams to scope, design, and launch partnership‑specific insurance solutions.
Support product customisation to meet partner needs while ensuring profitability and compliance.
Coordinate end‑to‑end launch processes including UAT, pricing alignment, benefits validation, and digital integration.
Monitor partnership performance against KPIs, revenue targets, conversion metrics, and customer acquisition goals.
Analyse data to identify gaps, trends, and new opportunities to grow penetration and enhance partner value.
Prepare dashboards, commercial reports, and performance updates for management.
Lead or support contract discussions including commercials, SLAs, and exclusivity terms.
Work with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure all partnership activities adhere to regulatory requirements and corporate policies.
Manage contract renewals, reviews, and partner audits when required.
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Operations, Claims, IT, Underwriting, and Finance teams to ensure seamless partner delivery.
Champion internal alignment by providing partner insights to influence product development, pricing enhancements, and customer experience improvements.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Professional certifications in insurance (e.g. PGI, CGI, or equivalent) are a strong advantage.
3–8 years in Insurance Partnerships, Business Development, Digital Distribution, or Account Management.
Experience with general insurance, health insurance, or life insurance products.
Proven track record in managing external partners, driving revenue, or launching digital insurance products.
Strong understanding of insurance product structures, underwriting concepts, pricing, and distribution models.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation capabilities.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and propose actionable insights.
Project management experience, especially in product launch or integration projects.
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and operate in fast‑paced environments.
Commercially driven with a partnership‑first mindset.
Highly organised, proactive, and detail‑oriented.
Able to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
Adaptable, resilient, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
