Job description

The (Re)insurance industry is evolving and becoming more inclusive, redefining what talent looks like for the future. In 2025, we took a bold step forward, with SCOR leading the way in establishing the (Re)Insurance Industry Alliance. This founding committee, comprising employees from SCOR, Howden, and Charles Taylor, was created to reshape workforce strategies and foster a more equitable and diverse talent pipeline.

Building off the success of the 2025 pilot initiative, this year’s Project INmersABILITY 2026/ 27 will see a revamp and the inclusion of a new partner, Allianz. Together, we purposefully designed it as 12 months journey to support and develop talent from Singapore’s disability community through a structured and progressive learning experience.

Participants build confidence, deepen their understanding of the market, and develop a strategic perspective over time through immersive work placements across the (re)insurance value chain, while gaining hands on experience in real business environments.

The journey begins at Singapore College of Insurance (SCI), Project INmersABILITY's new education partner, where the incumbents are empowered to build a foundational knowledge of the (Re)insurance landscape through an introductory programme designed to prepare them for the industry.

Participants then embark on their first rotation at Allianz, where they develop a strong operational foundation and gain firsthand insight into how insurance functions at a fundamental level.

Following such, they subsequently transition to Howden, deepening their understanding of broking andadvisory services, including how risks are assessed, structured, and placed within the market.

The programme will finally culminate at SCOR, and they will consolidate their learning and develop a broader strategic perspective on the role of reinsurance within the ecosystem.

By the end of this structured journey across our Partner firms, participants will gain a holistic understanding of the (Re)insurance industry, supported by valuable skills, practical experience, and increased confidence to pursue careers across a range of functions. Beyond professional development, the programme also empowersparticipants to contribute to meaningful change by advancing disability inclusion and helping to build a more diverse and inclusive future for industry.
