A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced instrumentation designer to join their team. Responsibilities include detailed design, technical support, and resolving client issues. Candidates should have 5 years of experience in instrumentation and the ability to work collaboratively with other engineers. This is a full-time position based in Bukit Batok, Singapore.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in instrumentation design.
• Ability to interpret P&ID and prepare technical data sheets.
• Experience in liaising with clients and resolving technical issues.

• Carry out instrumentation related detailed design and preparation of drawings.
• Review instrumentation documents from clients and consultants.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and sub-contractors to resolve technical issues.

Job description

Responsibilities

• To carry out instrumentation related detailed design and preparation of drawing.
• To interpret and develop P&ID, technical data sheet preparation and I/O wiring diagram.
• To carry out instrumentation calculation for the design.
• Responsible for reviewing instrumentation documents and specification from clients and consultants.
• To check and review all instrumentation related drawings and documents from suppliers and vendors.
• To liaise with clients, consultants, sub-contractors to resolve technical issue at site and in office.
• To coordinate with engineers of other disciplines within the department.
• To prepare pre-procurement including evaluation of technical and commercial bid from vendor and supplier.
• To provide engineering support in tendering of new projects such as preliminary design, material and cost estimates etc.
• To provide technical support to project team for on-going projects and resolve any technical issue on site.
• To assist in preparation of project schedule, related work procedure/method of statement and monthly progress claim.
