- Align with corporate engineering and process engineering teams to define requirements for instrumentation and control systems.
- Collaborate with EPC teams, equipment vendors, and internal engineering disciplines (process, mechanical, electrical, automation) to ensure integrated system design.
- Review P&IDs, control philosophies, instrument datasheets, loop diagrams, and I/O lists delivered by EPC contractors.
- Oversee specification and procurement of field instruments, control valves, analyzers, and PAT tools for sterile and regulated environments.
- Ensure calibration strategies comply with GMP and support system start-up and commissioning.
- Ensure adherence to applicable industry standards (GMP, GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11).
- Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and qualification (IQ/OQ) activities for process and utility systems.
- Review and approve vendor‑submitted instrumentation documentation and ensure compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
- Provide expertise on integration and connectivity for HART / fieldbus devices, enabling predictive maintenance and diagnostics.
- Interface with QA, Validation, and Operations to ensure systems are designed for long‑term compliance and maintainability.
- Contribute to the development and alignment of the integrated project schedule.
