Job summary

The Instrument Technician (Endoscopy) role focuses on proper inventory, decontamination, assembly, inspection and sterilization of instruments within the hospital setting.

Qualifications

• GCE N/O/A Level qualification with relevant years of experience and demonstrated competency.
• Ability to work independently and handle soiled instruments.
• Ability to work on weekends and Public Holidays.
• A good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ensure surgical supplies and instruments are inventoried, decontaminated, assembled, inspected, packaged, sterilized, stored, distributed and tracked in a timely manner.

The Instrument Technician (Endoscopy), is responsible for ensuring that all surgical supplies, instruments and equipment are properly inventoried, decontaminated, assembled, inspected, packaged, sterilized, stored, distributed and tracked in a quality / timely manner throughout the hospital. He / she should support the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The incumbent will be nested at Singapore General Hospital.
