J&G Star Service is looking for a skilled, responsible, and resourceful Maintenance Technician/Handyman to join our team. This is a full-time role that requires an individual who can work independently to manage and execute a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks across our facilities/client sites. If you are a reliable problem-solver with expertise in core building services, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)
  • Execute general electrical repair and maintenance tasks (e.g., light fixture replacement, basic wiring checks, troubleshooting minor faults).
  • Perform comprehensive plumbing works including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, repairing faucets, and installing fixtures.
  • Manage a diverse job scope independently, from identifying issues to sourcing materials and completing the final repair.
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance checks to ensure all systems are running smoothly and safely.
  • Maintain accurate records of all completed repair and maintenance activities.
What We're Looking For (Requirements)
  • Proven, hands-on experience in both electrical works and plumbing works.
  • Valid Motorbike License (Class 2B) and/or Car License (Class 3) to travel independently between job sites.
  • A strong sense of responsibility and the ability to manage time and tasks effectively without constant supervision.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance issues.
  • Willingness to commit to a full-time work schedule.
