Overview
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Executive to support business growth through structured lead generation, inbound inquiry management, and ongoing customer engagement. This role plays a key part in building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline, supporting outside sales teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely follow-ups and accurate order coordination.
The role requires strong sales discipline, effective CRM usage, and the ability to manage multiple sales activities concurrently.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers through consistent and effective after-sales support.
- Actively generate new sales opportunities through outbound activities including cold calling, email outreach, and follow-ups.
- Manage and respond to inbound sales inquiries from multiple channels in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of products and services to effectively position features, benefits, and value propositions to customers.
- Conduct virtual meetings, sales calls, and follow-ups to engage prospects and advance opportunities through the sales pipeline.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing customers where appropriate.
- Recommend suitable products and solutions based on customer needs, technical requirements, and business objectives.
- Process customer orders accurately and coordinate with internal teams, including logistics, to ensure timely fulfilment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system, including lead status, opportunity progress, and pipeline stages.
- Track and manage the sales pipeline to reflect the relative position of prospects within the purchasing process.
- Provide regular reporting on sales activities, including calls made, leads generated, pipeline status, and deals closed.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings between qualified prospects and Outside Sales Representatives.
- Participate in industry events, webinars, and workshops as required to support lead generation and market awareness.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned to support sales operations and business objectives.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inside sales, sales support, or account management.
- Experience in Information Technology, managed services, or related industries is an advantage.
- Ability to communicate in Japanese (spoken and written) to liaise with Japanese customers is an advantage.
