Job summary

National Heart Centre of Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Care Support Associate (Inpatient) to assist healthcare professionals with bedside care and administrative coordination. You will monitor patients’ vital signs, perform glucose checks, and help with discharge planning and appointment scheduling.

The role requires teamwork and strong communication skills, with preference for candidates holding a WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE N/O Level or NITEC; WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support would be an advantage.
• A good team player.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Documented proof of measles vaccination immunity or serological evidence.

Responsibilities

• Support healthcare professionals in clinical and bedside duties.
• Take vital signs (heart rate, respiration, blood pressure) and perform capillary blood glucose checks.
• Assist with administrative duties: coordinate calls between wards and next-of-kin, facilitate discharges and arrange patient appointments.
