Job summary

Qualifications

• Nitec, Diploma or Degree-level nursing qualifications are required.
• Experience in healthcare or patient-care settings is preferred.
• Hands-on patient support in a hospital environment is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) under nursing guidance.
• Support basic personal care and mobility needs.
• Assist with feeding, toileting and routine patient care activities.
• Help maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for patients.
• Support nursing staff with non-clinical patient care duties.
• Assist patients with transfers and mobility per procedures.
• Observe and report changes in patients' condition to the nursing team.
• Follow hospital infection control and safety procedures.
• Communicate respectfully with patients, visitors and colleagues.
• Work with nurses to support daily ward operations.
