Job summary

KLA is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join our Singapore-based team. You will design, sustain, and troubleshoot PCBs, power supplies, and test fixtures while coordinating with external vendors for validation and turnkey manufacturing solutions.

You will perform failure analysis, debug PCBA hardware with lab equipment, and collaborate with global teams to resolve issues and drive ECO implementations. A strong electronics background and hands-on debugging are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in electronics design, sustaining engineering, or board-level support roles.
• Hands-on PCB debugging experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with external vendors to support engineering validation and turnkey manufacturing solutions.
• Design, sustain, and troubleshoot PCBs, power supplies, and electronic test fixtures.
• Interpret and apply engineering requirements and specifications at board and sub-system levels.
• Perform failure analysis and root-cause investigations for analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronics.
• Conduct hands-on PCBA debugging using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, DMMs).
• Independently troubleshoot board-level and sub-system issues with technical ownership.
• Contribute to sustaining engineering activities, including ECOs and manufacturability improvements.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation, including schematics and test procedures.
• Communicate technical findings, risks, and project status to stakeholders.
