Recruitment Process
At Amaris, we strive to provide our candidates with the best possible recruitment experience. We like to get to know our candidates, challenge them, and be able to give them proper feedback as quickly as possible. Here's what our recruitment process looks like:
- Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
- Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
- Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
ABOUT THE JOB
- Lead the delivery of one or more smart mobility innovation projects, ensuring successful transformation from concept to implementation.
- Define and structure project parameters, including scope, timeline, budget, and expected returns, and secure necessary approvals.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring objectives are met and solutions are scaled at the regional level.
- Foster collaboration with Amaris R&D platforms and regional initiatives to maximize synergies.
- Engage with external partners—universities, public agencies, startups, and customers—to identify new opportunities and drive innovation.
- Generate and promote new ideas, continuously seeking opportunities for technological advancement.
- Champion innovation within the organization and the broader APAC ecosystem.
ABOUT YOU
- Academic background: Degree in engineering (M.Sc. / B.Sc.) or equivalent
- Experience in tech product creation and management, including product development (robotics, data, digital), product design, data and software architecture, business model creation, DevOps/MLOps, and general computer science knowledge.
- Proven track record in data and AI product development and tech team management.
- Demonstrated experience in innovation, with exposure to the tech ecosystem (customers, operators, universities, governmental agencies, startups).
- Skilled in identifying and assessing business and technology opportunities, managing ideation and design workshops, and overseeing patent processes.
- Strong project management capabilities, including stakeholder engagement, budget oversight, planning, risk management, change management, and deployment of new products.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize tasks, and negotiate trade-offs, with proficiency in agile methodologies.
- English fluent.
- Desirable: Experience in computer vision, robotics, digital platform design and management, railways industry, and business development.
