Job summary

WORKLE PTE. LTD. in Bedok Area, Singapore, is seeking a hands-on Injection M moulding specialist for a full-time permanent role. You will set up multi-cavity moulds, program critical processes, and troubleshoot moulding defects to minimise downtime.

The ideal candidate has a diploma in a technical field and 2–3 years of high-precision plastics experience, with exposure to premium electric machines like Fanuc Roboshot and Arburg. Work hours are 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Precision Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Technology, or related technical discipline.
• 2–3 years hands-on experience in high-precision plastic injection moulding; electronics tooling sector preferred.
• Experience with premium electric injection moulding machines (Fanuc Roboshot, Sodick, Sumitomo, Arburg).

Responsibilities

• Machine & Tooling Setup— Set up multi-cavity, high-precision moulds, core pulls, complex sliders, and auxiliary equipment
• Process Optimisation— Program and fine-tune critical parameters including multi-stage injection speeds, hold pressures, melt temperatures, and cycle times for high-performance resins such as PEEK, LCP, PPS, and PEI
• Advanced Troubleshooting— Diagnose and rectify technical moulding defects including micro-flash, gas burns, voids, sink marks, and warping to minimise downtime and scrap rates
• Automation & Robotics— Operate, set up, and troubleshoot 3-axis/5-axis robotic sprue pickers and automated vision inspection systems
• Mould Care & Maintenance— Perform preventative maintenance on moulds including cleaning tool inserts, core pins, and parting lines to maximise tooling longevity
