Job summary

A leading consulting firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Application Infrastructure Specialist to manage Cloud infrastructure across various projects. The role requires collaboration with stakeholders to develop effective solutions and oversee project budgets. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science or IT and have at least 5 years of experience in ICT infrastructure operations. Knowledge of AWS and Azure services is highly valued. This position includes a hybrid working arrangement with a salary package of up to $8.5k per month.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in ICT infrastructure operations.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure Cloud services, including IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS is an added advantage.
• Experience in the public/government sector is an added advantage.

We are seeking an experienced Application Infrastructure Specialist who will be responsible for managing the Cloud infrastructure aspects of various projects from initiation to implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand business and application requirements, and design infrastructure solutions accordingly.
• Develop and manage budgets for infrastructure projects, ensuring cost‑effective solutions and oversee maintenance contracts, negotiating terms with vendors to ensure value for money.
• Lead the planning, deployment, and support of application infrastructure, including Microsoft Windows, SQL Server clustering, and VMware virtualization (vSAN).
• Coordinate the integration of AWS and Azure Cloud services (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS) into the organization’s infrastructure.
• Ensure all infrastructure projects adhere to public/government standards.
• Oversee daily operations and support for application infrastructure.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in ICT infrastructure operations.
