Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Project Engineer (Infrastructure) in Singapore. The role focuses on planning, coordination, and execution of civil engineering, road works, drainage and related infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and at least 4 years of relevant building/construction experience, with strong site coordination and drawing interpretation skills. Location: Changi; schedule Mon-Fri with alternate Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in building construction projects.
• Experience in commercial, institutional, A&A, or mixed-use development projects is a plus.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site coordination, and project execution processes.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents accurately.
• Familiar with local authority requirements, building regulations and construction safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities to ensure smooth project execution and timely resolution of site issues.
• Monitor project schedules and site progress, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and contractual requirements.
• Supervise daily site operations and provide technical guidance to resolve construction, design, and coordination issues on-site.
• Review construction drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and technical submissions for compliance and constructability.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation including progress reports, site records, and inspection reports.
• Ensure strict compliance with workplace safety and health regulations and project safety requirements.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders.
• Support project commissioning, testing and handover activities.
