Job summary

The Ministry of National Development is seeking a policy-focused officer to strengthen the Built Environment (BE) sector through policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven decision making. You will work with WOG and industry partners to balance trade-offs and pilot innovative solutions that unlock BE sector potential.

Responsibilities

• Accelerate adoption of advanced BE technologies using levers like innovation, grants, procurement and regulations.
• Monitor BE sector health and capacity; foster a pro-enterprise environment for BE growth.
• Develop local capabilities and talents for complex projects, including emerging areas like coastal protection.
• Recalibrate foreign worker policies to ensure manpower while managing disamenities and protecting workers.
