Job Description:
We are seeking engineer to maintain and support critical on-premises platforms and infrastructure for government agencies.

This role ensures the reliability, performance, and modernisation of enterprise systems while supporting automation and infrastructure transformation initiatives.

You will manage compute, storage, and virtualisation platforms across multiple environments, implement modern operational practices, and maintain robust monitoring and security controls. The engineer will also support containerisation efforts, automate platform provisioning through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and adherence to enterprise architecture standards are key.

  • Working Hours: Mon-Fri
  • Working Location : Central
  • Salary Package: UP to $8800 (basic) + AWS
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and support compute, storage, and virtualisation platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V) across development, staging, and production.
  • Implement platform standards, automation, and modern operational practices.
  • Manage capacity, performance optimisation, and lifecycle of infrastructure systems.
  • Maintain monitoring and observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
  • Execute platform patching and security hardening with minimal service disruption.
  • Provide L2/L3 support for platform-related incidents and problem resolution.
  • Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and containerisation initiatives.
  • Ensure backup, disaster recovery, and high availability for critical components.
  • Collaborate with application teams on scalability and performance
  • Develop and maintain platform documentation and standard operating procedures.
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • Strong experience with enterprise virtualisation (VMware vSphere, Hyper‑V).
  • Proficiency in Linux and Windows Server administration.
  • Experience in storage (SAN/NAS), enterprise backup, and DR solutions.
  • Hands‑on knowledge of automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  • Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Knowledge of networking, monitoring, and observability solutions.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Certifications
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
  • ITIL v4 Foundation
