Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Infrastructure Engineer to join our IT Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and evolving the technical infrastructure of our organization, ensuring the seamless operation of our Linux and Windows systems. The role demands a blend of technical prowess, passion for innovation, and a commitment to providing stable and efficient environments for our users and clients.

Responsibilities

• Design, setup, and manage both Windows and Linux server environments on AWS Cloud, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the highest level of systems and infrastructure accessibility and security.
• Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups and log reviews.
• Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness, creating system guidelines and manuals for the organization.
• Engage in service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning.
• Collaborate with IT security team to maintain security compliance across the infrastructure.
• Participate in the creation of disaster recovery plans and conduct security risk assessments.
• Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
• Ensure that all infrastructure components meet proper performance and capacity standards to meet the organization’s SLA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven working experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux and Windows based environments.
• Solid Cloud experience, preferably in AWS, Huawei Cloud & Azure.
• Hand-on experience in Office 365 administration. Additional skillset in Power automation & Power App will be an advantage.
• Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box).
• Experience with monitoring systems, script automation, and IT operations best practices.
• Familiarity with networking devices and protocols, firewalls, and VPN.
• Knowledge of security as it relates to cloud-based infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Certified Linux Engineer, etc.) are a bonus.
