Job summary

Digital Roundabout Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect with deep NetApp storage and data-center expertise to design, implement and lead storage and infrastructure initiatives.

You will develop high- and low-level architectures for NetApp FAS/AFF, ONTAP, SAN/NAS, VMware integration and DR, collaborate with network, security and operations teams, and ensure scalable, high-availability solutions for enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as an Infrastructure Architect / Storage Architect in enterprise data-center environments.
• Hands-on NetApp FAS/AFF and ONTAP experience.
• Solid SAN/NAS, FC, iSCSI networking knowledge.
• Experience with SnapMirror, storage migration, replication and DR.
• Understanding of Brocade and/or Cisco MDS SAN switching and zoning.
• Familiarity with VMware storage integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise NetApp storage and infrastructure solutions.
• Develop high-level and low-level architecture for storage, SAN/NAS, virtualization and data-center environments.
• Design solutions for storage migration, provisioning, expansion, upgrades and technology refresh.
• Provide technical architecture for NetApp FAS/AFF and ONTAP/Clustered ONTAP environments.
• Design and review SAN architecture, zoning and connectivity across Brocade/Cisco MDS environments.
• Design and coordinate SnapMirror replication, backup, DR and data migration solutions.
• Architect VMware storage integration and ensure appropriate performance, availability and scalability.
• Perform capacity planning, performance analysis and infrastructure sizing.
• Define infrastructure standards, technology roadmaps and recommended architecture patterns.
• Evaluate new technologies and provide recommendations for infrastructure modernization.
• Work closely with Network, VMware, Application, Security and Operations teams to ensure end-to-end solution integration.
• Review technical designs, implementation plans, migration strategies and infrastructure changes.
• Provide technical guidance during implementation, testing, migration, deployment and production handover.
• Support ONTAP, firmware and storage infrastructure upgrades and ensure minimal business disruption.
• Identify and address infrastructure risks related to capacity, performance, availability, scalability and security.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide technical escalation support for critical/P1 incidents.
• Coordinate with technology vendors and partners for solution design, technical validation and issue resolution.
• Ensure architecture, configuration, as-built and operational documentation is maintained.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Architect with strong expertise in NetApp storage and enterprise data-center infrastructure to design, implement and provide technical leadership for storage and infrastructure solutions.

The role requires strong hands-on knowledge of NetApp FAS/AFF, ONTAP, SAN/NAS, SnapMirror, SAN zoning and VMware, along with a broad understanding of enterprise infrastructure, networking and data-center technologies.

• Experience working with infrastructure vendors and enterprise technology teams.

• NetApp certifications such as NCDA/NCIE would be an advantage.
