Job description
Your key roles & responsibilities include:
  • Lead the Domain (CIG) responsible for managing and supporting IT operations across 14 APAC countries
  • Reports to the Domain Head (currently recruiting, expected to be LE) and manage below two lines:
    • Country Line: Three team members assigned to specific countries.
    • Planning Line: Three team members handling planning tasks, including meetings and KPI management.
  • Oversee Country IT operations across specialized domains (e.g., Cyber, Risk & Control, Project Management, Architecture).
  • Develop and execute comprehensive PDCA cycles for IT governance and operations oversight across APAC countries.
  • Ensure regional policies are implemented, elevate issues to R-CIO promptly, and drive solutions for risks and challenges to maintain stable operations.
What you should have:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the banking industry.
  • Proven project management skills in huge and complicated projects across various countries.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to acquire consensus among stakeholders.
  • Business-level proficiency in both the English and Japanese languages will be advantageous as you are required to communicate, read and understand, as well as respond and present to management and Japan (Head Office). This includes system discussions, Q&A meetings, status update meetings, and writing reports to management, etc.
