Job summary

Manpower Staffing Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a security engineer focused on vulnerability management. You will design, build, and maintain scalable, secure solutions, and triage vulnerabilities based on severity and risk.

Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to deliver remediation guidance and automate workflows using Python, Go, Bash, or similar tools. You will evaluate AI-enabled approaches to threat analysis and support global teams across time zones.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in software engineering, system design, and distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving techniques.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, Scala, or Bash.
• Strong experience with SQL, Linux systems, and scripting/automation.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including version control, code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management platforms such as Tenable, Qualys, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of common security vulnerabilities, CVSS scoring, risk assessment, and remediation strategies.
• Good understanding of IPv4 and IPv6 networking concepts.
• Ability to investigate complex security issues and provide practical recommendations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-driven professional capable of independently leading initiatives from concept through implementation.
