Kerry Consulting is recruiting for an experienced leader to head its local Information Security Coordination and Business Continuity functions in Singapore. The role combines governance, regulatory compliance, and resilience management to strengthen operational capacity.

The candidate will lead a team, drive security controls, coordinate with regional teams, and oversee audits and BCM testing to ensure organisational resilience.

Qualifications

An international financial institution is seeking an experienced leader to head its local Information Security Coordination and Business Continuity function. This role combines team leadership, information security governance, regulatory compliance and business continuity management to strengthen the organisation's operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring service delivery and operational excellence.
• Set priorities, manage team performance, workload and resource planning.
• Develop team capabilities through coaching, mentoring and training.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex operational issues.

Information Security Governance

• Serve as the local Information Security Coordinator, ensuring compliance with global security policies and local regulatory requirements.
• Promote security awareness and deliver organisation-wide security communications and training.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on security controls.
• Perform security governance reviews and drive remediation of identified gaps.
• Coordinate with regional and global security teams on policy implementation and compliance activities.

Business Continuity & Crisis Management

• Lead the organisation's Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and Crisis Management programmes.
• Maintain and enhance BCM frameworks in accordance with regulatory expectations.
• Coordinate annual BCM reviews, testing and simulation exercises.
• Lead BCM governance forums and report programme status to senior management.
• Oversee regulatory attestations and ensure audit readiness.
• Manage cross-functional continuity planning and crisis response across business units.

Audit & Compliance

• Coordinate internal and external audits relating to information security and business continuity.
• Conduct internal quality audits to support ISO 9001 compliance.
• Track audit findings and ensure timely remediation.

Requirements

• Approximately 8+ years' experience in Business Continuity, Operational Resilience, Information Security Governance or Technology Risk within the financial services sector.
• Demonstrated people leadership and stakeholder management experience.
• Strong understanding of business continuity, disaster recovery and regulatory requirements.
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Business Continuity certifications (CBCP, CBCI, CBCM or equivalent) are advantageous.
