Job summary

Tech Aalto Pte Ltd seeks a Migration ETL Developer to drive secure data migration in core banking projects. You will design and implement ETL/ELT workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and IDMC, focusing on extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading of sensitive data into target systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7-10 years of ETL development experience in enterprise banking or financial services.
• Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud (IDMC preferred).
• Strong SQL/PLSQL skills and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).
• Experience in data profiling, quality assessment, and reconciliation techniques.
• Understanding of dimensional modelling, metadata management, and CDC concepts.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica (on-premise and IDMC) for large-scale data migration.
• Experience with PowerExchange for Mainframe source access is a plus.
• Implement scalable ETL/ELT processes for batch and near-real-time data movement.
• Conduct data profiling to identify quality issues and anomalies.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Data Architects to translate mappings into ETL logic.
• Perform reconciliation and delta analysis between source and target systems.
• Troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and job failures across environments.
• Handle client data in compliance with Swiss data protection regulations (FIDLEG, MAR, GDPR).
• Document ETL designs, data lineage, and interface specs; support go-live handover.
• Participate in agile sprints, code reviews, SIT/UAT, and production cutover.
