The role emphasizes health and safety practices, collaboration with colleagues, and continuity of care between home and the centre, supporting young children’s emotional and social development.

Responsibilities

• Design and create developmentally appropriate materials and resources to enhance quality learning environments for infants and toddlers
• Implement strategies that build respectful, responsive, and reciprocal relationships with infants and toddlers to support their emotional and social development
• Apply health, safety, nutritional, and hygiene practices consistently according to established standards and procedures
• Foster a collaborative culture within the Centre by actively engaging with colleagues and supporting teamwork
• Collaborate with families to ensure continuity of care and learning between home and Centre environments
• Conduct routine caregiving tasks in compliance with standards and procedures to meet infants’ and toddlers’ daily needs
