Job description
Responsibilities


  • Develop a caregiving routine and lesson plans that align with the Early Years Development Framework.

  • Create and utilize developmentally appropriate materials and resources to enhance a high-quality learning environment.

  • Document children's learning and developmental progress to inform future planning and teaching strategies.

  • Regularly review and ensure compliance with health, safety, nutrition, and hygiene practices in accordance with Star Learners' standard operating procedures.

  • Implement strategies that foster respectful, responsive, and reciprocal relationships with infants and toddlers.

  • Build strong relationships and partnerships with stakeholders by actively engaging with the children's families and the broader community.


Requirements


  • Has Certificate in Infant and Toddler Care and Development (CIT) / Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) / Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY)

  • Has registered with ECDA and attained the EY1/ EY2 certification
