Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience with industrial equipment.
• Experience with mechanical maintenance and repairs is preferred.
• Able to work independently and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repair work on industrial steel equipment.
• Inspect equipment to identify faults, breakdowns and potential issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and carry out necessary repairs.
• Monitor equipment performance and report recurring faults to supervisor.
• Assist with equipment servicing, component replacement and maintenance activities.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised work area.
