Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking an Industrial Engineer to improve production efficiency and manage processes. The role covers responsibilities such as designing production processes, training staff, and managing documentation. Candidates should possess knowledge in precision machining and production management, ideally with at least 5 years of relevant experience or appropriate qualifications. Qualifications

  • Preferably with 5 years of relevant working experience in precision machining industry.
  • Diploma and above qualification in relevant fields.

Responsibilities

  • Review production schedules, processes, specifications, and related information.
  • Design production processes that maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Develop and implement process improvements and technological upgrades.
  • Design control systems to minimize costs and production issues.
  • Develop design and production standards in cooperation with management.
  • Prepare material and equipment lists, purchase orders, and cost analyses.
  • Design the layout of facilities and determine personnel requirements.
  • Train staff for new processes and provide instructions and manuals.
  • Manage process documentation and prepare production reports.

Industrial Engineer | $3,500 - $4,000 + VB

  • Working days: 5 days work | 7:30am to 4:45pm
  • Working location: Tuas Ave
Job Responsibilities
  • Review production schedules, processes, specifications, and related information
  • Design production processes that maximize efficiency and reduce waste

Skill Requirements
  • Knowledge of precision machining, production scheduling and production management
  • Knowledge of production scheduling and production control
  • Knowledge of engineering drawing interpretation
  • Knowledge of part manufacturability
  • Knowledge of Environment, Health & Safety
  • Knowledge of Fire Safety of factory & office premises
  • Preferably with 5 years of relevant working experience in precision machining industry
  • Diploma and above qualification (prefer in Industrial Engineering, Precision Engineering or Manufacturing)
  • Nitec or higher Nitec qualification with more than 10 years of experience can be considered.
