Job Overview

Job Title: Indian Curry & Tandoor Chef

Location: East Region

Working Hours: 6 days, 44 hours per week

Salary: $4000 to $5000

Responsibilities
  • Prepare authentic Indian curries and manage the tandoor section (e.g. naan, tandoori meats, kebabs)
  • Ensure consistency and quality in all Indian dishes prepared
  • Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and service
  • Minimize food wastage and manage inventory efficiently
  • Assist in the creation of new Indian dishes and seasonal menus
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Indian cooking techniques and recipes
  • Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
  • Maintain proper use and care of all tandoor equipment and cooking tools
  • Be flexible to assist in other sections of the kitchen when needed
  • Attend training sessions or meetings as scheduled
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Management
