The In-Room Dining Server is responsible for overseeing daily in-room dining operations, ensuring guests receive exceptional service that reflects the hotel’s high standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and support the in-room dining team to ensure prompt, courteous, and professional service delivery.
- Coordinate food and beverage orders between guests, kitchen, and service staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Inspect trays, trolleys, and setups before dispatch to ensure presentation and standards are met.Handle guest requests, inquiries, and complaints with professionalism and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Monitor daily operations and assist during peak hours to maintain service efficiency.
- Train, guide, and motivate team members to uphold hotel service standards and grooming requirements.
- Ensure accurate order entry, billing, and posting of charges in the hotel system.
- Conduct daily inventory checks of equipment, linen, and amenities, and ensure proper stock control.
- Work closely with the Kitchen, Housekeeping, and Front Office to coordinate service flow and special arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Food & Beverage service, preferably in a hotel or similar environment.
- Previous experience in in-room dining or room service is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures.
- Pleasant personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
