Job summary

A leading educational organization in Singapore is seeking an experienced ICT Trainer to develop digital literacy skills among students. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of teaching experience and must be registered with MOE. Responsibilities include teaching coding, designing lessons, and supporting teachers in ICT Integrated lessons. Excellent communication skills and familiarity with digital tools are essential.

Qualifications

  • Registered with MOE.
  • At least 1 year of experience as an ICT Trainer.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a school.

Responsibilities

  • Identify essential students' Digital Literacy and Technology Skills (DLTS).
  • Design lessons for both direct instruction and teacher-led delivery.
  • Teach coding to students.
  • Teach photography and videography skills to New Media CCA students.
  • Support teachers with ICT Integrated lessons.
  • Provide support for school events like photography and videography.

Working Hours
  • Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 0.5hr lunch break
  • Fridays: 7:00am to 3:30pm, inclusive of 0.5hr lunch break
  • Saturdays: Upon School’s request (Hours worked will be compensated with time-off)
Qualifications
  • Must be registered with MOE
  • At least Nitec certification or its equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience as an ICT Trainer
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a school
  • Knowledge and skills in: Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Coding, Photo and Video Editing-preferably Adobe Creative Cloud and Windows & Mac platforms, iOS and iPad applications
  • Understanding of Digital Literacy and Technical Skills
  • Excellent team-player who is organized, meticulous and able to multi-task.
  • Good communication and inter-personal skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify essential students' Digital Literacy and Technology Skills (DLTS), and develop a comprehensive 6-year DLTS plan in collaboration with teachers
  • Design related lessons for both direct instruction and teacher-led delivery for DLTS
  • Teach coding to students
  • Teach students in New Media CCA the photography and videography skills and prepare them for the OSOS (Our School Our Story) competition
  • Support teachers in carrying out their ICT Integrated lessons and project work training
  • Provide support for school events (Photography, Videography, PA, etc.)
