We are seeking a dedicated and innovative ICT Trainer to inspire and equip our primary school students with the foundational skills for digital fluency.
You will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive ICT curriculum that empowers students to thrive in a technology-driven world and prepares them for the future.
1. Curriculum Delivery and Instruction:
Design, prepare, and deliver high‑quality ICT lessons for students from Primary 1 to Primary 6.
Teach a wide range of topics, including:
Digital Literacy & Citizenship: New media literacies, internet security, ethical research practices, and copyright awareness.
Technical Skills: Touch typing using school‑provided software.
Creative Media: Basic photo editing, video creation (e.g., iMovie), and animation (e.g., Powtoon).
Computational Thinking: Coding and programming with platforms such as Scratch, Scratch Junior, and Micro:bit.
Productivity & Collaboration: Full suite of Google Workspace for Education (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Sites, Classroom) and web‑based tools (Padlet, Kahoot, Mentimeter).
2. Learning Management & Assessment:
Facilitate and manage learning through the school’s Learning Management System (Student Learning Space – SLS).
Develop, administer, and analyze ICT baseline assessments to monitor student progress and guide instruction.
3. Administrative and School Support:
Perform all related ICT administrative tasks and duties as assigned by School Leaders or the Head of Department.
Provide technical support and guidance to ensure the smooth running of ICT‑related activities within the school.
