Job Title: Project Officer
The Project Officer will be assigned works that include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Providing day-to-day technical support to operational users
- Delivering technical support for operational events
- Managing the lifecycle of ICT equipment if any
- Administering user accounts and inventory management systems
- Supporting the rollout of ICT projects

Job Scope
- Work closely with stakeholders and other project officers to support operational and project implementation
- Provide prompt technical support for operational events; and business-as-usual ICT requirements and troubleshooting
- Work closely with vendors to ensure all ICT requirements are provisioned and operational outcomes are met
- Provide technical consultation and solutioning for operational users on ICT requests
- Provide 1st level troubleshooting for any network related issues at designated sites
- Manage user expectation and resolve any technical issues/ incidents timely
- Manage inventory and asset of ICT equipment, including peripherals and accessories
- Ensure operational readiness of ICT equipment for deployment
- Manage and support disposal of ICT equipment
- Support audit activities and stock-taking of ICT inventory
- Administration of user account management system and inventory management system
- Assist in provision of mobile plan subscription and subscription of fixed / leased line
- Assist in budgeting for ICT requirements, including monitoring of expenditure and verification of billing as when required
- Management and maintenance of network control centre / room
- Compliance with Agency Standard Operating Procedures and Whole-of-Government Instruction Manuals during course of work
- Perform any other duties as assigned by immediate supervisors and HTX management
Skills and Experience
- The Candidate shall have preferably 2 years working experiences in technical support for ICT projects or operations. Candidate with prior experience in project coordination, field support engineer and Whole-of-Government ICT related jobs would be an advantage.
- Fresh diploma graduates may apply.
- Candidates should possess ICT knowledge and skillset.
- Good interpersonal and communications skills including oral, writing and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A good team player with initiatives and ability to perform under pressure.
- A fast and resourceful learner with positive working attitude.
Qualifications
- Diploma in either Computer Studies, IT, Electronics, Communications Engineering or other equivalent engineering courses
Working Hours
Mon – Thurs : 8:30am – 6:00pm
Friday : 8:30am – 5:30pm
(inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
Able to be contactable 24 x 7 and perform work after office hours, on weekends and Public Holidays if required at short notice.
