Role Overview

As an IBM Datacap Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing intelligent document capture solutions using IBM Datacap. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver optimized workflows for data extraction and document processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop IBM Datacap applications for document capture and data extraction.
• Configure and implement Datacap workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Datacap applications.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.
• Maintain documentation for configurations, workflows, and project reports.
• Integrate Datacap with other enterprise systems (e.g., FileNet, ERP, CRM).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience in IBM Datacap development and customization.
• Strong understanding of document capture processes and OCR/ICR technologies.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as .NET, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Experience with IBM Content Navigator and FileNet is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Nice to Have
