Job summary

Assurity Trusted Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer to build secure IAM automation services for government-scale identities. You will design and implement backend services, APIs and automation, integrating with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Graph and SailPoint to manage identity lifecycle and access governance.

The role requires 2–5 years of hands-on experience with Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python or Java, and familiarity with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and SAML.

Qualifications

• Design, develop and maintain secure IAM applications, backend services, APIs and automation workflows.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and enterprise system integrations.
• Strong knowledge of IAM concepts: identity lifecycle, RBAC, SSO, MFA, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and SAML.
• Hands-on software engineering experience with Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python or Java.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain secure IAM applications, backend services, APIs and automation workflows.
• Integrate with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Graph to automate users, groups, enterprise applications, Administrative Units, PIM, Conditional Access Policies and access governance workflows.
• Integrate with SailPoint to automate users, groups, entitlement management, provisioning and access review workflows.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites, contract tests and validation checks for APIs and service integrations.
• Support Java-based backend utilities or plugins and ensure secure authentication/authorisation with SSO, MFA, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and SAML.
• Deploy code through CI/CD pipelines with testing, security scanning, release controls and rollback practices.
• Produce technical documentation including API specs, sequence diagrams and runbooks.
