Brief Summary:

Join an established main contractor as a Hydro Surveyor, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of survey data throughout various construction phases. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate closely with engineering teams and contribute to significant reclamation and dredging projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct hydrographic and topographic survey data processing, including reclamation and dredging volume calculations during construction.
  • Ensure all measurements and calculations at survey sites meet accuracy standards.
  • Coordinate daily hydrographic and topographic survey operations, including planning and scheduling.
  • Liaise with clients regarding reclamation and dredging volume matters.
  • Provide technical methodologies and operational procedures to clients.
  • Set up computer systems for hydrographic and magnetometer surveys.
  • Ensure calibration of survey instruments according to specified guidelines.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors on equipment housekeeping, protection, and storage.
  • Lead reclamation engineers and assist in resolving technical issues with engineering teams.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil and/or Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in hydrographic and topographic survey data processing with a recognized contractor.
  • Strong teamwork abilities and solid decision‑making skills.
