Job summary

A manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a Hydraulic Service Technician to perform assembly, installation, and maintenance of hydraulic components and systems. The ideal candidate should possess a valid driving license and show a strong willingness to learn, with training provided. The role offers a permanent position with a working schedule of 5.5 days per week.

Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid driving license is preferred.
  • Strong willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly, installation, and maintenance of hydraulic components and systems.
  • Participate in pressure testing of hydraulic components.
  • Assist engineers in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues in existing hydraulic systems.
  • Prepare accurate testing reports, service reports, and maintenance records for completed projects.
  • Carry out mechanical repair work for hydraulic equipment and components in both workshop and shipyard environments.
  • Work under supervision of senior technicians and engineers initially, progressing to independent work once competency is demonstrated.
  • Coordinate deliveries with relevant stakeholders.
  • Arrange entry permits for work at shipyards.
  • Act as liaison between the technical department and the admin department.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

  • Working Hours: 5.5 days (Monday-Friday, 8AM - 5PM; Saturday, 8AM-12PM)
  • Salary Package: Basic Salary + Meal Allowance + OT + AWS + PB
  • Duration: Permanent
