Job summary

Schellden Solutions Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced enterprise hardware specialist to support IT hardware operations in a hybrid data center environment in Singapore.

The role focuses on installation, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of rack and blade servers, storage arrays, and tape libraries from top OEMs. You will collaborate with infrastructure architects, project engineers, and logistics teams to deliver high-quality, scalable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience in installing and maintaining enterprise hardware in data centers.
• Knowledge of rack-mounting, cable management, and power delivery setups.
• Familiarity with multi-vendor hardware management tools and OEM-led troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment and configuration of rack and blade servers, storage arrays, and tape libraries from major OEMs.
• Perform diagnostics, part-level replacements, firmware upgrades, and post-repair validations.
• Manage multi-vendor tools such as Dell OpenManage, HPE OneView, IBM HMC, NetApp ONTAP, Lenovo XClarity, and Cisco UCS Manager.
• Conduct rack-mounting, cable management, and power delivery setup for new deployments.
• Ensure adherence to Tier III/IV data center standards and ongoing capacity planning.
• Act as L2/L3 escalation lead for hardware issues and perform RCA with OEMs.
• Manage SAN/NAS environments, RAID, LUN provisioning, and deduplication.
• Interface backup hardware with software (Commvault, Veritas, Veeam) and manage maintenance cycles.
• Coordinate with field support, project managers, and logistics during deployments and upgrades.
• Document asset inventory, firmware levels, and maintenance via CMDB/DCIM.
