Responsibilities

• Design HVAC systems for marine vessels, offshore platforms, and other marine structures, ensuring compliance with marine regulations and classification society standards.
• Conduct load calculations, equipment selection, and ductwork/piping design for HVAC systems in challenging marine environments.
• Integrate HVAC systems with fire and gas detection systems, ventilation for hazardous areas, and other safety measures.
• Balance comfort and efficiency considerations while optimizing HVAC system design for energy efficiency and reliability.
• Consider seismic and structural factors in HVAC system design for offshore applications, ensuring resilience to dynamic forces.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems into overall marine and offshore designs.
• Provide support during commissioning and testing of HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with performance requirements and safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
