Job summary

A leading provider of modular pharmaceutical facilities is seeking an experienced HVAC Design Engineer in Singapore. You will be responsible for developing HVAC design deliverables and ensuring compliance across regulated environments. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of HVAC design experience and proficiency in tools like AutoCAD and Revit. This role offers the opportunity to work in high-specification modular construction, supporting GMP-regulated projects.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of HVAC design experience; 10+ years preferred.
  • Familiar with FDA, cGMP, ISO14644, and 21 CFR Part 211 standards.
  • Strong understanding of IBC, IFC, JIS, BS, and other relevant building codes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop HVAC design deliverables across Concept, Basic, and Detailed Design phases.
  • Prepare load and air balance calculations, airflow diagrams, and ductwork schematics.
  • Coordinate with LDI, PE, and QP teams to ensure design integrity.

A leading provider of modular pharmaceutical facilities is seeking an experienced HVAC Design Engineer to support multidisciplinary construction projects under the EPCM delivery model. This role is pivotal in driving HVAC design excellence across regulated environments including pharmaceutical, semiconductor, data center, and cleanroom builds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop HVAC design deliverables across Concept, Basic, and Detailed Design phases
  • Prepare load and air balance calculations, airflow diagrams, AHU zoning layouts, and ductwork schematics
  • Create and review technical documentation, specifications, and 3D models using Revit and SketchUp
  • Coordinate with LDI, PE, and QP teams to ensure design integrity and regulatory compliance
  • Support procurement activities including BOQ preparation, value engineering, and bid evaluation
  • Review subcontractor and LDI submissions for alignment with URS and local/international codes
  • Provide technical support during construction, installation, and commissioning phases
  • Contribute to FM and LEED design consultancy efforts across project scopes
Ideal Profile
  • Minimum 3 years of HVAC design experience; 10+ years preferred
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office
  • Familiar with FDA, cGMP, ISO14644, and 21 CFR Part 211 standards
  • Strong understanding of IBC, IFC, JIS, BS, and other relevant building codes
  • Knowledge of material selection for cleanroom and non-cleanroom environments
  • Effective communicator with coordination and leadership experience in project settings
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable to dynamic project requirements
