Job description

As an HR Associate at Shopee, you will be allocated to a specific HR function, such as Recruitment, Learning & Development, Employee Engagement & Employer Branding, People Operations & Talent Management. The exact domain you will focus on will be determined 1-2 months prior to your joining, based on the evolving needs of the organisation and your personal preferences.

This role is ideal for someone who is flexible and open to being allocated to any HR function, adapting to the organisation's needs. You will gain hands‑on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment, working closely with senior HR leaders and contributing to strategic initiatives that drive our people's agenda.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver best‑in‑class HR programmes and initiatives in (but not not limited to) the following domains to ensure continuous improvements in the team’s objectives, productivity and development: Recruitment, Learning & Development, Employee Engagement & Employer Branding, People Operation, Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits and HR Business Partnering.
  • Partner with line managers to advice and solutions for day‑to‑day people matters and long‑term organisation plans.
  • Champion and incorporate our culture and values in all aspects of work.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree, background in Human Resources Management / Psychology would be a plus.
  • Prior HR internship experience will be an advantage.
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment while maintaining appropriate attention to detail and standards.
  • Goal‑oriented, strong analytical skills.
  • Highly self‑motivated, quick learner with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
